Butadon 豚丼




  1. Garlic, 1 clove, minced
  2. Ginger, 1 finger, minced
  3. Soy sauce, 2 tbs
  4. Water, 2 tbs (or better mirin)
  5. Wine, 1 tbs (or better sake)
  6. Sugar, 1 tbs
  7. Pork, sliced thinly (or better beef)
  8. 1/2 Yellow onion, sliced
  9. Spring onion (as garnish)


  1. On a small sauce pan or pot and under low – medium heat, add in soy sauce, water, wine, sugar, garlic and ginger
  2. After the sugar melts, add in the pork, and turn to medium-high heat.
  3. Wait until the pork is cooked, and add in the yellow onion, stir and cook till the onions are soft
  4. Serve it topped on rice, and garnish it with spring onion !
